This research, is entitled "At_Tajyya School for Reciters in Zabid during the
Apostolic State and its Impact on the Science of Recitations ( Qira’at) ", aims to
introduce this school, mention its conditions and characteristics, and the method
of teaching in it, and follow what was mentioned about it regarding its
establishment, rebuilding and restoration, and mentioning its famous readers
(Reciters) who took over Teaching in it, with a brief translation of them,
highlighting the impact of this school on the science of Recitations ( Qira’at),
mentioning its scientific output, and the efforts it made in serving the Recitations
( Qira’at) and their sciences, narration and classification.
In this research I have followed the historical curriculum, by tracking the news
of this school and its men in the books of translations and history, and the
analytical method, by collecting this information, analyzing it, revising it, and
arranging it in demands that illustrate the efforts of this school in the science of
Recitations (Qira’at).
The research concluded with several results, the most important being that
At_Tajyya School was the first school specialized in the seventh Recitations
(Qira’at) in Yemen, and that the famous readers (Reciters) of this school were
among the well-known reciters who ended up with the leadership of Qira’at, who were distinguished by the exactness, proficient and the height of the chain of
transmission, and that this school has a clear impact on the science of Recitations
(Qira’at), representing in the interest in the seventh Recitations (Qira’at), lead the
recitations, the narration of some books of Recitations (Qira’at), and interest in
the chain of narrators
