Abstract

The research was aimed at addressing the concept of
Welayah (literally guardianship), identifying its elements and
causes and showing how it pays off by studying the relevant
Qur’anic verses. To this end، the researcher adopted the
inductive-descriptive approach. The research consisted of an
introduction and a preface in which a definition of the
research terms was given، and of three sections devoted to the
Welayah and its elements, with reference to some of what
leads to or prevents it, in addition to a set of fruits received 
by the adherents both in this world and the hereafter.
The research led the author to several results, including
that the concept of Welayah is divided into two parts، one is
limited and the another is unlimited، and that it has
manifestations. In his Holy Book، Allah Almighty mentioned
the reasons for obtaining and preventing His Welayah.
Whoever adheres to the Welayah will gain its fruits here in
this world and in the hereafter.
