The Formative and Temporal Event Sequence in Surat Al-Naba (A Descriptive Study)

Abstract

This research aims to report the impact of differences in chronological and temporal order on the meanings and interpretations of the verses in Surah An-Naba. It also aims to identify the key factors influencing these differences in Surah An-Naba through the study of the chronological and temporal sequence in the surah, elucidating its relevance to the beginning and objectives of the surah, and clarifying the factors affecting the arrangement of the formative events. By following a descriptive approach, the researcher found that Quran intends to highlight the differences in the order of the formative verses, as well as the temporal sequence for various considerations, including rhetorical, linguistic aspects, the viewer's perspective, the beginning of creation, alignment of benefits, and simultaneous creation. The researcher recommends further study on the impact of the order of formative events in Quran through scientific reports and references, as well as exploring the concept of simultaneous creation in Quran and its influence on preference
