The Semiotics of Titling in Abdullah Al-Dhahwi's Diwan 'Khaljat Qalb'

This study aims to shed light on the semiotics of titling in Abdullah Al-Dhahwi's Diwan 'Khaljat Qalb' through a semiotic analysis. The semiotics of the title are a modern critical field that studies the title as the first threshold of the literary text. Furthermore, as a signifier that carries signals and symbols that contribute to guiding the reader towards a deeper understanding of the poetic text's content. It also reveals the importance of the title, as it is the key to unraveling the text and exploring its hidden meanings. This study followed a descriptive-analytical approach and concluded with several findings, including:
The study revealed that the titling in Abdullah Al-Dhahwi's poetry offers a distinctive literary model that highlights the reader's impact on absorbing the aesthetic and intellectual dimensions of the text. Furthermore, it exposed the integration between the signifier and the interpretive experience, making the reader a partner in enriching the text and realizing its humanistic and symbolic dimensions
