This exegetical study analytically examines the phenomenon of begging in the light Holy Qur’an, through an analysis of its concept, manifestations, causes, effects, and remedies. The research problem lies in questioning how Qur’an addresses the phenomenon of begging, and what value-based vision it presents for dealing with it. The study aims to demonstrate that begging is not merely an outward behavior, but rather a reflection of moral and social imbalance. The research adopts the inductive and analytical methodologies to derive Qur’anic approach through values associated with chastity, work, dignity, and solidarity. The findings reveal that the term “begging” is not explicitly mentioned in Qur’an, but is expressed through words such as “asking” and “importunate insistence.” The study concludes that the remedy begins with prevention by instilling ethical values and strengthening social structure. It further highlights the importance of the Qur’anic vision in addressing the phenomenon within a comprehensive reformative framework.
