Given the importance of science in the lives of nations and its impact on their advancement, and with the Islamic nation’s aspiration to this as a witness to its existence, it remains an essential entry point and a fundamental starting point for those interested in this great goal and dedicated to this lofty purpose to ask: Which of the Holy Qur'an's treasures have enabled the nation to achieve scientific supremacy during its periods of glory? What is the path to uncovering and utilizing them to address the nation's problems and remedy the pitfalls encountered in this field?
Since interpretation is one of the sciences that deals most closely with the Holy Quran, the researcher decided to examine the interpretation of Al-Tahrir wa Al-Tanwir by Ibn Ashur, to see to what extent this unique interpreter paid attention to the scientific and educational aspect in his interpretation, and what share the sciences had within the objectives of the Quran, through a research entitled: The Status of Teaching the Nation Among the Objectives of the Quran According to Ibn Ashur: Features and Dimensions.
Among its outcomes were: The education of the nation is considered a comprehensive Quranic objective, indicating its lofty status, the Quran combines religious and worldly interests in its focus, the research generated questions that require discussion, reflection, and answers
