This study dealt with tracking and studying the fabricated hadiths in which Imam Al-Shafi’i - may God have mercy on him - said (it is not proven by the scholars of hadith) with a critical hadith study through his books and writings, explaining the reason for their lack of proof, and explaining the consequences of that regarding the validity of the inference or its lack. The research relied on the inductive and analytical method. To reach the goals and objectives of the study.
The study came in an introduction: it included the research problem, the importance of the research topic, the reasons for choosing it, its objectives, its approach, its methodology, and previous studies, and an introduction containing two topics: the first: research terms and the second: a brief translation of Al-Shafi’i, and two sections: the first on the chapters of worship and transactions and the second: on the will. Inheritance, apostasy, and a conclusion: It contains the most important results of the research and the most prominent recommendations, including:
- The strength of the hadith faculty according to Imam al-Shafi’i, which was reflected in his hadith, fundamentalist, and jurisprudential choices and preferences.
- The fact that the hadith is not proven by the relevant scholars among the scholars of hadith does not necessitate abandoning its action.
Completing the research project by studying the rest of the terms of Imam Al-Shafi’i that he mentioned in his books.
