This study aimed at explaining the truth of seeking intercession from the Prophet Mohammad- peace be upon him- after his death, its legitimacy, and the consequent agreement or controversy. Therefore, this study is needed for showing the real depiction of it.
This study adopted the descriptive, analytical and inductive appr oach to reach its objectives. This study came in a prelude to explaining the research terms. It has five chapters explaining the answers to questions about the lives of the prophets in their graves, and their hearing to the talk of the living, and on what God enabled them to do, in addition to the position of the Shaykh of Islam Ibn Taymiyyah - may God have mercy on him - on that
The study concluded that it is permissible to seek intercession
from the Prophet - peace be upon him - after his death. This is
the opinion of imams of Islam, contrary to the opinion of the
Sheikh of Islam Ibn Taymiyyah - may God have mercy on him.
The study ended with a conclusion in which the most important
results and recommendations were mentioned
