The Book of Revealing the Secrets of the Righteous in the Interpretation of Allah's Statement: (Cursed is man; how ungrateful is he!) Authored by Sheikh Abdullah Abdi bin Muhammad al-Rumi al-Bosnawi (d. 1044 AH), A Study and Critical Edition

Abstract

This research focuses on the manuscript titled “Revealing Secrets of the Righteous human” via interpreting the highness God’s words (cursed be on man how denier, ungrateful is he).

The importance of these scripts recognized as it reflects the layer of scientific production in AL Bosnia which rarely had been taught and, it also documents the participation in serving the holy Quran by the Bosnian.  The study aims to identify the author’s scientific influencing, it identifies the manuscript, ascribes it to the author as well indicates the author’s method in composing.

 Moreover, it describes the original manuscript in addition to the scientific verification to the whole texts. The verification style depends on the documentary, descriptive and analyzing method.

This research divides this study into three chapters. The first chapter dedicated to identifying the author’s name and ancestors, born and growth, his teachers and students, his scientific level and compositions ended by his influences and death. The second chapter is allocated to studying the book and therein are:

1-         verifying the book title and ascribing it to the author.

2-         clarifying his method.

3-         clarifies the methodically verifying process.

4-         Describing the original script and recommend examples therefrom. On the third chapter the researcher achieves scientific validity of the text. At the conclusion, the researcher sets the most important results and recommendations relating to meant script. The author uses the creditable interpretation, linguistic analyzing, mental degrading and the Sophie’s remarks within a coherent thematic unity. The author divided the human life evolution into six generic stages and he linked them to the God maintaining and the God support in every stage which in fact gives the interpretation a universal unlimited dimension. Clearly the author functions the interpretation to prepare the seeker for the worship levels to reach the ultimate deism.

    Some authors confused between Abdullah Abdi ……….died (1054H) the author mean herein and other author who is Abdullah Sarei son of Mohammad Abdullah Alothmaney died 1074 H. additionally; they ascribed some books of the second author to the first one.
