The Sayings of Amr Ibn Maimun Al-Awdi in Interpretation An Analytical Study

This research is titled: "The Sayings of Amr ibn Maimun al-Awdi on Interpretation. The research problem is presented as follows: Did Amr ibn Maimun al-Awdi have any sayings on interpretation? What was his methodology for understanding and interpreting verses? Did his views differ from those of his times?
The research aims to collect and study the positions where Amr ibn Maimon made statements in interpretation and the impact of his interpretation on understanding the Qur’anic text, And to clear the influence of his sheikhs among the Companions on his interpretive views and comparing them with those of the early interpreters, and highlight the impact of his interpretation on understanding the Quranic text.
The research methodology was based on the inductive and analytical approaches. It included an introduction, four chapters, and a conclusion.
Research results: Amr ibn Maymun acquired knowledge from the Companions of the Messenger of Allah. So, his statements were in agreement with theirs. His interpretation included stories, the Quran's Obscure Words and identifying the ambiguous verses.
