Abstract

This research tackles one of the most crucial and sensitive topics, which is considered an urgent need in society, especially at this time when the risks surrounding the nation, both individuals and groups, have increased. The researcher approached this topic through Quranic stories, examining the dimensions of the subject by extracting them from the events and developments within these stories. The study begins by defining the concept of awareness. The second topic tackles the importance of awareness, along with its sources and manifestations. The third topic examines the types of senses mentioned in Quran.

The researcher adopted the analytical method in addressing this issue, analyzing the situations in which security awareness emerged, supporting his findings with the statements of interpreters and scholars. The study yielded several key findings, the most significant of which include: Quran places considerable emphasis on the concept of security awareness, highlighting its importance throughout; every Quranic story contains references to this theme, either explicitly or implicitly. Moreover, the prophets (peace be upon them) exemplify the highest levels of security awareness, with Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) standing out as the most prominent example. Security awareness in Quranic stories is not limited to a specific group; rather, it is evident at all societal levels and encompasses various types of security awareness—economic, social, military, and political. This underscores the importance of security vigilance among all segments of society, not just among state officials. Furthermore, being equipped with security awareness does not contradict faith in fate; instead, it serves as a means to influence fate. Cultivating security awareness within the nation directly contributes to public security and enhances stability.
