This research focused on the terms buying and selling; In order to reveal their concept in the Qur’anic system, using the method of terminological study, by adopting complete induction of the material of the two terms, while adopting the steps of lexical study and textual study as permitted by the limits of this research, in an attempt to understand the meanings of buying and selling and their importance in human life and relationships.
Among the results of this study: The meaning of sale in the Holy Qur’an is based on its linguistic origin, which is: removing the thing from the possession and transferring it for compensation to others in exchange.
As for the linguistic origin of purchase in the Holy Qur’an, it is based on the meaning of collecting something, taking it from others, and transferring it to the estate in exchange for compensation. The terms buying and selling are distinguished by the significant size of their material, which is mentioned by par in eight surahs, in addition to the great importance of the two concepts, and their connection to human life and its fate in the immediate and future.
