Publication terms

The journal is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published every six months. Research is accepted for publication in Arabic and English, in accordance with the following terms and conditions:

  First: General controls:

The research must be original, and meet the conditions for scientific research based on the scientific and methodological principles recognized in writing academic research, in the fields of (Qur’anic sciences, Sharia sciences, Arabic language sciences, and educational, social, and human sciences).
The research must be written in proper language, taking into account the rules of grammar, spelling, coordination, and accuracy of drawings and figures (if any), and printed on the computer.
The research must not have been previously published or submitted for publication in any other publishing medium (the researcher submits an acknowledgment of this, or his review of these controls is considered an acknowledgment of this).
The research must have accurate documentation and good use of sources and references.
  Second: Technical controls:

Research papers are written in Arabic in the font (Traditional Arabic) and in font (16), and research papers in English are written in the font (Times New Roman) and in font (14).
The research pages should not exceed (35) pages, including the introduction, references, and summaries.
  The margins on all sides are 2.5 cm. The page size is: (17x25 cm).
The line spacing for papers in Arabic and English shall be (1.15)
The font size for tables and figures for research in Arabic is (14), and the font size for tables and figures for research in English is (11)
  The tables and figures must be included in their correct places, and must include the necessary titles and explanatory data. It must be taken into account that the dimensions of the figures and tables do not exceed the size of the magazine page.
Qur’anic verses are written in Uthmani script, in font size (13), and placed between flowery brackets.
. Verses are documented in the body of the research, by surah and verse number.
  The Prophetic hadiths are written in the same font and size as the body of the research, and are placed in brackets like “ » in drafts of size 12. Only the words that need to be formed are formed.
  Scientific quotes are written between quotation marks “,” and according to citation systems and research ethics.
Third: Scientific controls and documentation:

The researcher should write a summary of the research in the range of (150-200 words) to be placed on page after page of the research title as one paragraph, so that it includes: the research title, the research issue (problem), the main research objective, the research methodology, and the most important results reached by the research. Then search keywords (3-5 words), immediately following the summary on the same page.
The researcher must translate the title, summary, and keywords of the research into English, if the research is in Arabic, or translate that into Arabic if the research is in English (noting that the translation must be certified, and not from electronic programs, and the translation must be of the final version accepted by the manuscript).
The researcher must translate his name and the information he wants to publish on the title page of the research.
The research in theoretical research should contain the following:
The summary - mentioned previously - is Arabic and English.
Introduction includes:
An introduction to the nature of the research, ranging from generality to specificity.
research importance.
The research problem and its questions.
Scientific research objectives related to the research questions and problem.
Research Methodology.
Previous studies of the research, explaining the differences in research on them, and its scientific and practical addition.
Search terms (if needed).
Structure Search. (the plan).
The body of the research and its scientific material show the researcher’s effort away from rigid quotes without linking and analysis.
The conclusion contains:
The most important findings of the research are closely related to the research problem and its questions.
The most important recommendations.
Scientific proposals.
Index of references and sources according to (APA6) method
The research in applied research should contain the following:
Abstract (Arabic and English)
Introduction includes:
The research problem and its questions.
research importance.
Scientific research objectives related to the research questions and problem.
Research hypotheses (if any).
search limits.
Previous studies of the research, explaining the differences in research on them and its scientific and practical addition.
Theoretical framework
Research methodology and procedures.
Research results and discussion.
The conclusion contains:
The most important findings of the research are closely related to the research problem and its questions.
The most important recommendations.
Scientific proposals.
Index of references and sources according to (6APA) method
The citation in the body of the research (for educational research as well as economic, political and social research) shall be by mentioning the last name of the author and the year of publication in parentheses, such as: (Al-Mansouri, 2014), and in the case of two authors, the last name of the authors shall be mentioned, then the year of publication, such as: (Al-Sabahi and Al-Quraidi, 2020). When there are three to five authors, the last name of all authors is mentioned at the first citation, such as: (Al-Shafi’i, Al-Kathiri, and Sir Al-Khatm, 1418 AH), and when the same reference is cited again in the research, the name of the first author is written followed by the word “et al.”, such as: (Al-Shafi’i et al., 1418 AH), and when there are more than five authors, the last name of the first author is mentioned, followed by the word “et al,” then the year of publication, such as: (Al-Qurashi et al., 2014). In the case of a text quotation, the page number is added after the author’s name and year of publication, such as: (Al-Mahmoudi, 2014). , 33), (Al-Razi, 1998, 4/201).
7. Research papers on Islamic and Arabic sciences are marginalized at the bottom of each page in the following manner: family name or nickname, author name, book name, part and page. Such as: Al-Zuhayli, Wahba Mustafa, Islamic jurisprudence and its evidence, 1/120.

8. Books of the Prophet’s hadith are written in the same way, with the addition of (the book, the chapter, and the hadith number) to the classified references, such as: Al-Bukhari, Muhammad Ismail, Sahih Al-Bukhari, 1/20 No.: 16, Book: Faith, Chapter: The Sweetness of Faith.

9. Only one edition of the reference shall be confirmed, and it is not permissible to prove more than one edition of the same reference, unless there is a necessary requirement for that, and it is clear what that is.

10. Sources and references are recorded with their full information at the end of the research, using the American Psychological Association (APA) documentation system, as follows:

If the reference is a book: In books, the name of the author(s) begins with the last or last name, then I write (the year of publication between Rasheen), followed by the title of the book (in italics), and the edition number, if any, followed by the country of publication, and the name of the publishing house.

If the reference is a research paper in a periodical: The name of the researcher(s) should be mentioned, starting with the last name, then the rest of the name, then the date of publication in parentheses, then the title of the article, then a note of the name of the journal (in italics), then the volume number, then the issue number and page number: ( .. - ..) which contains the search.

If the reference is a master’s or doctoral thesis: the name of the author of the thesis is written based on the family name, then the date of the thesis is written (between two headings), followed by the title of the thesis (in italics), then the master’s or doctoral thesis is mentioned in italics, the department, the college, the name of the university, Country.

References and sources are arranged in alphabetical order, with Arabic references coming first (books, letters, and periodicals), then non-Arabic references after them (books, letters, and periodicals).

11. Manuscript investigations adhere to the same controls and procedures, and marginalization is at the bottom of the pages.

Fourth: Publication procedures:

1- Research, studies, and all correspondence related to the journal shall be sent to the Journal of the University of the Holy Qur’an and Islamic Sciences, Republic of Yemen, in the name of the managing editor or editorial secretary, at the e-mail address listed below.

2- A copy of the research is sent to the journal’s address, so that the researcher’s name, scientific title, place of work, field, and email appear on the cover of the research, in word and PDF format.

3- A summary of the researcher’s biography is attached to the research, including the researcher’s address, in order to facilitate communication with him.

4- The editorial board conducts the initial evaluation of the research with the help of specialists.

5- If the research is initially accepted, the researcher shall be notified of this, and the prescribed arbitration fees shall be paid. The research shall be presented to arbitrators with expertise in the field of research, and they shall be chosen in complete confidentiality, and the name or data of the researcher shall not be presented to them, in order to express their opinions about the originality of the research. Its scientific value, and the extent of the researcher’s commitment to the recognized scientific methodology, and the arbitrator is asked to determine the suitability of the research for publication in the journal or not. (Through a special arbitration table for this purpose).

6- The researcher will be notified of the decision whether his research is suitable for publication or not within a period of one month at most, from the date of receipt of the research. In the event that the research is rejected, the researcher shall be notified of this with a statement of the reasons for the rejection.

7- If comments are received from the referees, they are sent to the researcher to make the necessary amendments accordingly, provided that the revised research is returned to the magazine within a month.

8- Authors of published research will be given a copy of the issue of the journal published in it, and extracts from their research.

Fifth: Publishing ethics:

1- Commitment to academic and professional standards at all stages of research.

2- Adherence to the standards and ethics of scientific publishing and citation rules, and attributing information to its original sources.

3- Violation of scientific standards and publishing ethics may cause the research not to be published or be withdrawn from the journal’s data.

Sixth:Publication fee

Researchers are required to pay the following prescribed fees:

  • Faculty members at the University of Holy Quran and Islamic Sciences are exempt from fees.
  • Researchers from within Yemen are charged 25,000 Yemeni Riyals.
  • Researchers from outside Yemen are charged 100 $.
  • Pages in excess of the course are subject to the journal system in terms of fees (one thousand Yemeni riyals for each page).
  • Please note that the fees are non-refundable, even if the research is rejected during the review process.

 Seventh: Important notes:

The journal reserves the right to produce research in a way that suits its publishing style (technically).

The opinions expressed in the research published by the journal express those of their authors, and the journal does not bear any responsibility for them.

The journal welcomes the publication of summaries of university theses in the aforementioned specializations, provided that the abstract is prepared by the author of the thesis himself. Under the same conditions and controls, within a maximum of ten pages.

For all articles published in journal, copyright is retained by the authors. Articles are licensed under an open access Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 license, meaning that anyone may download and read the paper for free. In addition, the article may be reused and quoted provided that the original published version is cited. These conditions allow for maximum use and exposure of the work.
